Vitacore CAN95e Black Surgical Respirator (10 masks)

The CAN95e Surgical Respirator is Vitacore’s first flagship respirator. The CAN95e was designed specifically for the Canadian citizens to provide one of the highest levels of protection, high filtration, great breathability, and comfortable fit.

The CAN95e Was the First Health Canada Authorized N95 Surgical Respirator Manufactured in Canada, and is made in Vitacore’s Burnaby BC facility.

Description and Classification

CAN95e initial independent fit testing demonstrates some of the highest fit scores of any respirator ever tested (other than our CAN99). The CAN95e has over 95% particulate filtration efficiency, a minimum of 160 mmHg blood penetration resistance (ASTM F2100). Low inhalation/exhalation resistance gives the mask better breathability.

The material, assembly and final product testing are independently conducted by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), McMaster University, and private lab partners.

CAN95e Standards and NIOSH

NIOSH is not currently certifying respirators made outside of the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this, Health Canada has developed a Canadian guideline for certifying Canadian-Made respirators which meets and exceeds NIOSH standards by implementing fit-testing.
